The Sports Management program prepares you to pursue a career in professional sports, intercollegiate athletics, facility operations, recreation management and many other sport-related businesses. You can also continue your education with Heidelberg’s Plus One MBA program to further prepare yourself to enter the professional world of sports. The career outlook in sports management is positive in the coming years, with the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) projecting of over 1 million combined management jobs in the sports and entertainment sector between 2020 and 2030.

I chose this major because of my passion for the industry and the endless amount of opportunities available. My professors were so supportive, from classes to internships and job placement. Heidelberg helped me grow academically, professionally and personally, and I loved every second of it.
